Refund policy for learner drivers-

Where payment for driving lessons have been made in advance, our refund policy is as follows –

Advance payment for driving lessons by cash or by cheque will be covered by our refund policy, and if the payee decides not to go ahead with the lessons, they will be refunded in full. However, we do require 24 hours notice of a cancelled lesson, if a lesson is cancelled for any reason without 24 hours notice; we reserve the right to charge for that lesson.

Advance payment for driving lessons made by credit or debit card are subject to the same terms as above, however an administration charge of £5.00 will apply, to cover the card-handling fee.

Refund Policy for Instructor training-

We reserve the right to charge in full for any lesson that is cancelled, unless we are given 24 hours notice. If for any reason a lesson is paid for, and then finishes early at the request of the trainee, then the lesson must still be paid in full.

Payment for the Part One training is expected before the training starts, the cost of the training will include the fee for the Theory Test, Wickford Driving School training material, books and software, and the DSA Starter Pack.

If payment for part one is received and the trainee for any reason decides not to go ahead with the training after taking the training books, or is refused their application for registration or if the trainee cannot continue with the training due to serious medical grounds, confirmed in writing by a doctor, we will give a full refund, less the cost of the training materials of £75.00.

If one payment for all the training is made in advance, and the trainee for any reason decides not to go ahead with the training, cannot continue with the training due to serious medical grounds, confirmed in writing by a doctor, or fails the part II exam after three attempts, we will offer a refund in full for any training that has not been taken, subject to our 24 hour cancellation policy.

Any request for a refund in relation to instructor training must be made in writing, and the request will be given prompt attention.
