Our Prices

Wickford Driving School is a family run business, big enough and professional enough to cope with the needs of any pupil, at any standard of driving, to go on and pass their driving test.

Our normal rates are £19.00 for a full one hour lesson, and you can take one hour, one and a half, or two hour lessons. Student rates are £18.00 per hour.

Buying a block of ten lessons will cost £180.00, with student rates being £170.00. These prices will remain fixed until you pass your driving test, and are not subject to a premium rate for evening and weekend lessons! The prices quoted on this page are for manual driving lessons only.

We also arrange intensive courses, which suit people who want to pass as soon as possible. The cost of our courses are as follows-

Course 1) 10 hours - £246*

Course 2) 20 hours - £416

Course 3) 30 hours - £596

Course 4) 40 hours - £776

* Course 1 would suit a candidate who has recently failed their driving test.

All the above intensive courses include the test fee which is currently £56.50, and do have to be booked in advance, but after calling us we will make all the arrangements for you and fit the lessons in around you. If you are interested in any of the above courses, we would appreciate you booking as soon as possible, in order to give us plenty of time to arrange the lessons, this will ensure that the course runs as trouble free and smoothly as possible, but please note that before the driving test can be booked, the candidate must have passed their Theory and Hazard Perception test. Please phone for more details.

You can choose a male or female instructor, who follow a strict code of conduct, whose main aim is to train you to drive at test standard as quickly as possible.
